Actually I tend to mix ASM and C. C is in my opinion better for complex control structures and user interfaces. Further more modern C compilers are quite efficient when it comes to optimization (Ie Keil do cross file register optimization). ASM rules for writing hardware interfaces though or time critical things. I know I prefer C for control structures and UI because I've tried both, and a control structuire written in C is way more readable.. Henrik |
