#8787 - RE: Menu |
Oleg T.,
I disagree with Steve on this. I always use data structures and its the most effective way to do menues. I did a beautiful structure for a system I did for the Navy about 15 years ago. It used two Z-80's, one to track machine operation in realtime and the other as the man-machine interface that did all the high level functions including running a menu-traversal dumb terminal system. You only needed to use the arrow keys and enter to make your selection, though it would accept numbers, or keywords to jump to selections. It was very efficient. aka j |
