I may have missed something in the discussion but:
Why not store each line (of 25 bits) in 4 Bytes in the EEPROM leaving another 7bits remaining for the "line number/s" or some other useful feature unique to the particular record. This would save heaps of memory and give you quite a lot of flexibility in the way that the patterns were repeated as well as speeding up readtimes, (only 4 bytes instead of 25) Marshall |
