Charles, why do you take it so personal?
My previous response to a suggestion of yours was "great idea, never thought of it", so it's not that I have anything against you personally, I just hate one-shots, they create more problems than they solve. In the actual example the timing of the oneshot must be more than the longest exposure to the notch (lowest RPM) and shorter than the shortest non-exposure (highest RPM) this in many cases would make the use of a one-shot or any other pulse width dependent method impossible - been there, done that. The proof of a program/design is NOT that it works, that only means that no bugs have shown yet. ease up, have fun Erik |
