Because I thought we can have our messaing software arrange the bit patterns the way it's easier for the uC to manipulate
if you can do that, that makes everythibng a breeze. The problkem with that is that then you can only have very few messages in your memory. For me to hold >1000 mesages for 6 signs in 2Mbyte, I have layout, font and text files separately and build the bitmaps on the go. Erik |
