if you can do that, that makes everythibng a breeze.
Well I couldn't. In order to do that I seem to +have to repeat the data of each page and as you mentionned it wastes memory.

I have layout, font and text files separately and build the bitmaps on the go.
That's cute. I only have text and 128Kbytes is enough for 1000 words which is enough. I'm gonna have the uC do the conversions ... if it's my omen then so be it.
