If the logic requirement was 400mA for 16 data and a handful of control lines - then we'de be talking a whole load of current!
Obviously the 400mA was for the drive itself, the logic current requirement is much,much less. As for the disk drive you are using - it's current requirements may be different. That's why we read the data on the devices we use! |
