Yes, I mean a number with a decimal point. For displaying, I have decided on using a fixed number of digits (2) after dicimal point and 3 digits on the left of the dicimal point. For displacement would be less than 150.00 mm.
As for the equation, yes first multiplying and then dividing makes better sense but I was just giving a raw idea. The point is I don't want to perform an integer division and loose all the fractional digits. |
