Fine, so the equation I need to solve is:
Displacement = (Pulse_Count * Pitch * 100)/PPR Now, I can store Displacement as an integer. Thanks a lot for your help. I guess I should have figured this much out myself. However, I still need some help with communicating with a PC using RS232 ports, can you suggest me any article/tutorial on this? Compliments! |
