#89618 - rand() Responding to: ???'s previous message |
If you have an old version of Keil be aware that the pseudo-random number generator in rand() is very poor. It has since been fixed and now uses a 32-bit LFSR.
You may find this article to be of interest: http://www.programmersheaven.com/zone5/cat.../32219.htm It will tell you how the Keil rand() works and how to do your own LFSR based random number generator. |
