That's not in dispute.

Graham was just saying that the implementation of rand() was poor in some earlier versions of Keil C51;
it was a poor implementation of a pseudo-random number generator, now it is a better implementation of a pseudo-random number generator - but it is, always was, and always will be only pseudo-random!
