#89973 - Dennis, such a point can be reached Responding to: ???'s previous message |
We finally got to the point that DataIO wouldn't support their programmer
Such a point can - justifiably - be reached after many years, the question re a programmers viability is, in my opinion: "how old was it when they discontinued support". That Needhams recently discontinued the support for DOS based programmers - when did windows become viable 95? - after 10 years of discontinued sales seems fair. I do not expect that a programmer manufacturer will support a programmer I bought in the HMOS days, but My original post here is due to the fact that I consider 3 years or less of support grossly inadequate.
