I agree completely. I don't expect indefinite support, and I don't like "new and improved" versions which so rapidly obsoletes older equipment. I can understand it though, since most likely they don't have the resources to support old and new, and this forced upgrading of customers adds to their bottom line.
Our DataIO was probably four or five years old when they stopped supporting it, so it passes your time limit, and the newer models were probably already out at the time we bought it. Dennis |
