I have a 24-page booklet issued to London telephone subscribers on the introduction of automatic (Strowger) exchanges.
It is undated but, judging from the illustrations, looks to be from about the 1920's? I particularly like the bit where they announce the latest innovation - subscribers will get a new-fangled device called a "dial" on their telephone sets!
