#90009 - Sun tracking thread by Mahmood Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Position of sun finding was discussed here:
http://www.8052.com/forum/read.phtml?id=44592 Take care, this sensoring stuff can heavily fail, if clouds are in the sky! In the seventies, when solar applications grew up, you could find many solar moduls, which totally run out of control, when there were clouds in the sky. I would accomplish sun tracking (I guess you intend to do this) not by the help of sensors, but by the help of calender and clock depending position table, providing a limited number of fix positions of solar module per day. Otherwise your positioning motors are running all the time and waste more power than the solar module can deliver... Kai |
