In any project I need a few Digital Panel Meters for user information. However easily available is the simple 2Vdc input 3.5digits DPM. But in most of my requirements I need DPMs with the following specifications :

1. Signal input : +/-5V or +/-10V or 4-20mA
2. Retransmission output : +/-10V or 4-20mA
3. Display : 4 digits LED plus polarity
5. Scaling : Programmable
6. Zero : Adjustable
7. Size : 96 x 48mm
8. Power : 230V ac / 50 Hz or 24V dc
9. Peak Hold : Required at times

Thus if there is a single programmable DPM, I can stock and use it for all cases instead of running around every time. For some projects I have even built such DPMs with 89c52+ 7135 ADC + DAC 0808.They are good. But the client is always uneasy with such "home brewn" stuff and looks for branded stuff. If the DPM is Omron and it flickers, he suspects his process. But if its my DPM, he suspects the DPM - you get my point ?

I did search in Google with keywords of "universal DPM" - I got lots of hits with Deputy Prime Minister as the subject.Our own forum returned two hits that were well - not very useful.

Can any of you provide some links where I can buy one such DPM ? I can import and thats not an issue.
