#90442 - No driver installed Responding to: ???'s previous message |
No, it was copied to the program files directory but never installed. The patch I found was not for the .inf file but a .dll. When I replace the .dll (which is what I assume you are supposed to do as there are no instructions for the patch which has an earlier creation date??) FLIP will not work at all; it loads into memory but never shows up on the screen or task bar.
Is it working for you; how did you install it? I'm trying to manually copy the .sys file and update the registry; it's the only thing left I can think of to try. When I go to the device manager it shows up as an unknown USB device. It won't let me change the driver as it says no better driver is found when I try forcing it to select that driver but it also say no driver is installed. When I remove the device and search for updates it comes back saying my hardware has been installed--but there is still no driver and it won't let me install one. Errrrr! |
