#90788 - New .inf driver received from Atmel. Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Is it working for you; how did you install it? I'm trying to manually copy the .sys file and update the registry; it's the only thing left I can think of to try. When I go to the device manager it shows up as an unknown USB device. It won't let me change the driver as it says no better driver is found when I try forcing it to select that driver but it also say no driver is installed. When I remove the device and search for updates it comes back saying my hardware has been installed--but there is still no driver and it won't let me install one. Errrrr! Bobby, I still had a small problem with the driver. Not regarding the correct working of the FLIP program, but when I started up my PC WinXP Home Edition, SP2), I got every time the message "New hardware found", although everything was working fine with the Atmel FLIP program. I wrote Atmel and I got very quickly an answer, telling me they knew there was still a bug in the Jungo windriver for USB. They sent me a patch file (.inf) and after installing it I didn't have any problems at all anymore. Are you interested in this solution too? I guess so... ;-) Pls. let me know. Best rgds, --Geert |
