#90455 - CF Better in all aspects.
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Dear Hemant,

arre instead of buying a new card, anybody can use the whole lot of hard disks which are being sold at almost nil cost.

NIL cost what do you mean? Are you getting them free.

and i don't know exactly, but do CF cards have memory ranges comparable to HDDs?

CF cards have enough memory to do almost any embedded task they are available in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 2.2GB etc.

and what about ruggedness?

CF cards are much more rugged than Hard Disks. Hard Disks are very succeptible to mechanical shocks CF are not so sensitive to mechanical shocks. Being solid state CF are more reliable in portable equipments.
