#90725 - all kinds of ways Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The most common is to use slow frequency hopping spread spectrum radio frequency signals inductivly coupled to the mains carrier. There are several manufacturers who make tx/rx chip sets.
Its ok for shiort distance work I worked for a company where we developed a system for remote meter reading of electricity meters. It never got off the ground due to problems with matching the cable impedance and implusive noise from domestic sources such as fridges but that was trying to send data over several miles. |
