you are right i should go for f12x neglecting cost factor
It is a good practice to consider cost, but NEVER consider cost if that makes the product perform less than required. If you can not make the product perform at the "allowed" cost, do not make the product. I know it is a tough decision to say no to business, but, in my consulting days, two customers that I had said no to came back with new business because I said no to what was not possible, which they realized after someone else "tried".
