#91162 - RTFM! Responding to: ???'s previous message |

can you suggest me some links or good books explaining in better way about different types of attributes of variables in c like alignment, packed, mode, transparent, sfr, weak, deprecated, union, section, space, near, far etc. Apart from 'union' (which is a standard 'C' keyword), these would all be Compiler-Specific - so you would need to refer to the appropriate Compiler manual, or a book that deals specifically with the particular compiler. You would also require an understanding of the underlying architecture - so you'd need to read the equivalent of "the bible" for the particular processor concerned. |
