#91404 - thanks Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thankyou Ijaz, Andy and Eric for yr valuable suggestions.....
But, I had gone thru the datasheet....connected the dotted end of the 10k resitor bank to =5Volts VCC .......I had used a digital multimeter to check the voltage ...I had nt loaded the micrcontroller ckt with any other ckt (My other ckt is on another pcb which I intend to connect to the Uc pcb using 8 pin connectors......and can vouch for the fact that the chip is not damaged coz.... What I've done right now is removed the resistor bank from my pcb (a very untidy job)and VOW! ....port 2 started giving me the reqd voltage levels.... Does anybody else hv a similar experience with AT89S8252 Now the same chip can run the reqd program. I hv not touched Port1 for now....Even if i require it....I would cofigure it as i/p port(that wont require pullup resistance) Thanks once again for the suggestions Hemant |
