#91674 - TRIM Responding to: ???'s previous message |
1)how is the frequency of internal RC oscillator related to the content of TRIM register, what is the tuning step and the limits, 2)and what are the consequences of de-tuning the chip (will it write FLASH properly?).
1) I do not know the steps, but it is initialized to what gives the 7.xxx MHz that is specified. Anyhow since the datasheet states "much better than 1%" I would assume a step of something like .1% or 7kHz. 2) but for UART etc, it should be none since you can use an external crystal for 0-12MHz.
