I learned something about the LPC CCU's the hard way (actually I took the idea from CodeArchitect, but I should know better).
When one uses a CCU for a timer periodic timer you can start and stop the timer (assumes you only want to use this timer part of the time) manually in firmware. Well if you do stop it, you'd better also disable the associated interrupt. If you don't, there's a 1 in 65536 chance that the timer will stop on the compare value that causes an interrupt. Let's just say it causes a lot of interrupts when that happens ;-) |
