#92090 - Project suggestion Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Emem,
I have a suggestion for a project. This is one that you might even be able to sell a few copies of (on eBay) if you're successful. Recently there was much ballyhoo here on the forum about people using toaster ovens to reflow their prototype SMT circuit boards. My idea is to build a power controller that you plug the toaster oven into which monitors the temperature inside the oven and regulates the power to produce the desired thermal profile. You might also have the module control a fan to increase the cooldown rate when needed. You can make it use any PC to provide the user interface. As for software, check out http://www.keil.com They have a freeware (and limited) version of their software that you can use. Good luck. Joe |
