#92113 - Identification of PHLIPS 8051 micros |
Dear Forum Members,
Is there a way to uniquely identify philips microcontrollers [ P89V51RD2, P89C668, LPC932 etc. ]. Any serial number printed onto chip or any other unique info inside it that can be accessed and is read only. I have considered other methods but they arent really tamper proof. - Screen printing serial under the chip package. - Storing some serial info in flash. But they can be tempered with? Any better method? Thanks & Regrads, Prahlad Purohit |
