#93062 - noise comparison |
hi friends,
these days i am tring to cop up with noise as i have to amplify microvolts signal,as every body know major source of noise is digital part of the circuts or high frequency switching in circuit board but i am tring to observe noise only due to microcontroller for that i am doing comparison between pic16c55(28pin dip) and at89c52 there is no extra components around both the chips a small program switching i/o pins on and off at 40khz is run on both the chip at crystal frequency of 24mhz,now if i observe noise level on ground pins of both of these microcontroller with cro scale set at 5 mv 8052 shows 20mv of noise and pic16c55(28pin dip) shows only 5 mv of noise,is it due ot package difference or i am using substandard at89c52 when i tried 8051rd2bn from philips same level of noise is observed as it was in atmel part. kuldeep singh |
