both the coils are at the point where 12v enter the board are they dangerous here too
yes. No coil should ever come between ANY cap and ground. If the 12V is AC pre rectifier bridge, they probably do not hurt (whether they do any good in that case, I do not know), but if they are after a reservoir cap the ground one is bad. The only location for "differential noise suppression coils" I know of that actually works is where the 110/220VAC enter. Erik |
