#9337 - RE: trying to understand |
Hi Bobby,
If you choose to start with 8052 then get the book " Programing with 8051 microcontroller" by I Scott Mckanzie. You can get it from Amazon. Go thru this book bit by bit and keep in touch with forum and tutorial at 8052.com. You can download any free assembler. You may find Metal Link's assembler. Don't start using C. Jay has already given you a million dollar advice. Do everthing in assembly to learn deeper. Try making a simple board your own rather than getting into use of an emulator. ( you need to know everything before using them) I beleive, the evaluation boards or emulators are only for Gurus and not the beginners. RIGHT ?? I haven't got a board yet......... Good Luck Simon |
