#93393 - get the clamps! Responding to: ???'s previous message |

When I give an input to my controller suddenly (remove the I/Pconnector and then connecting it suddenly), it goes to reset, I have given enough of Signal conditioning.( channel selection is done using dg408, then external gain using dg408 and op727 then the signal is added with a constant 2.5V and then given to adc to make it in bipolar mode)
I tryed introducing a 10micr hendry inductor(series) at the input and a cap of 0.1microfarad directly across the I/P. what else is to be done to remove this problem please help..... It's common to use some diode clamps to each rail on the inputs. They'll keep the input excursions from exceeding the rail plus a diode drop. Maybe you've got some serious ESD issues? Clamps may help. -a |
