#9372 - RE: serial eproms |
Hi Mak,
Serial EPROM’s such as the Atmel 24C01 are used everywhere such as in cellular phones, internal/external modems, Satellite receivers, Televisions and the list never stops. I like to think of them as the cockroaches of the electronic industry because of the predominance. It would be well to understand them by learning how to read/write to them for practice. It will reward you well down the road. You can find some nice software on "www.atmel.com" web site dealing with these chips. Regards, Charles Bannister |
