I don't understand your posting. I too use EEProms for nonvolatile storage of user settings and datalogged measurements. I certainly agree that data is appropriately placed in serial EEProms (what else would it be used for?).

I advised Mak that he not use them to store his IP software routines for running out of RAM therein.
