I am programming on 8051 architecture
is not very informative, if you did not, you would be off topic. What processor, what speed? I do not know if the simulator (after all it simulates) takes pulse width into account, but I guess not. However I do know that some have been surprised that their "proven" memory mapped stuff suddenly stopped working when they changed processor (speed). In one case (moving from 11MHz 12 clocker to 50 MHz one clocker) I had to change timing for port I/O. Erik |
