#94770 - Sorry, I misinterpreted Musharraf Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I thought the LPC series had weird I/O structures compared to normal. Is this correct for this variant ? Yes, Steve, you are right of course! I misinterpreted Musharraf, when he wrote that he put the micro into 'high impedance' mode after reset. Sorry, I thought that he had put the ports into quasi-bidirectional configuration. In order to prevent damage when experimenting with the micro, I wouldn't put the ports into push-pull configuration. And input-only mode would need pull-ups or -downs to prevent floating. So, I would put the ports into quasi-bidirectional configuration, switch-off the both analog comparators (if possible) and configure P1.2 and P1.3 as inputs-only in combination with 10k pull-ups.
