Over what temperature range? I assume (you did not say) that a pt100 is a 100 ohm thermistor. What is the expected temperature range for your appication? what resistance does it work out to? What is the allowable current for your device? To much it will self heat. That gives you your voltage range. Then you figure out how many bits you need to cover it. the referance and input gain come last. |
