#95229 - ADC'S Responding to: ???'s previous message |
hi it is a pt100 rtd so its 100 ohms at 0 degrees it a labfacitity dm-334 the temperature range i want is 100 degrees celcius to -50 degrees celsius the temperature range of the device 400 degrees celcius to -50 degrees celcius
the sensor resistance at 100 degrees celcius is 138.51 ohms at -50 degrees celcius it is 80.31 ohms the max current for device without causing self heating would be 2.2mA roughly the datasheet state to minimize self heating the power through the device should not exceed 1mW and as for working out how many bits i need to cover it i am not sure how to work that out but if anybody can help with this design i would be greatful thanks |
