#95473 - Whatever is better. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
...for certain values of "better". ;)
$25, which here isn't that little at all, plus shipping plus taxes plus customs and the price stops being "modest" very quickly. I'd rather buy a ready-made local product like PC USB to serial converter, take it apart and tap into selected outputs. Definitely cheaper. And as for USB capable derivatives, well, I know there are numerous ones, but no parametric search gives "ease of use" option - I can look for ISP, for DIL/DIP packages, for integrated peripherials, but there's more to "ease of use" than that, and experience speaks best when talking about "what part was a hell to configure, and what part made the work a pleasure", so that's what I'm asking. |
