I do wonder if any human invention has actually helped the human race? Are we any better off having cars and computers etc - lets face it, take away all our brilliant inventions and we're simply not going to instantly vapourise! We've yet to improve on what God invented! So whilst Jack Kilby is to be praised for his contribution and the wonderful tools it has produced, I doubt if ultimately all of this has improved the human condition. |
