I feel describing my comments as 'sad' is an indictment on society. I'm sure Donald understood my comments pretty well. Anil coming from India you are well aware of the difference between rich and poor - how would an integrated circuit help the poor people? I felt that attributing our wonderful way of life to an integrated circuit was stretching things a little. Also, other individuals/companies had similar ideas (for ics) but Jack & TI raised their hand first so history shows them as the victors. I wonder what Jack would have said to these various tribute? Nevertheless, three cheers to Jack. |
