Thanks to all that responded. The site put forward by Abhishek was the answer and Michael's comments were also helpful. The number of different techniques I've used over the years - my first used a monostable and a flip/flop (this was in the 80's before the internet was widespead) and I've suffered all the problems that are always mentioned. With most micros having a timer capture feature, we're in RC5 Nirvana! |
