#96616 - differences and similarities and sames Responding to: ???'s previous message |
i'm a beginner i want to learn one of these are they like each other?
All '51 derivatives share some commonality which is doscumented in "the bible". There is a general tendency to make datasheets that only show what differ from "the bible". Thus, if you have not read "the bible" most datasheets will be incomprehenesable/appear incomplete to you. Do not download by the link to the complete "bible" it is waaaay too large amd all the chapters beyond 3 are datasheets for discontinued derivatives, just use the links for chapters 1, 2 and 3. Once you have comprehended "the bible" you can select which derivative you want to start with. I will recommend the SILabs F0xx, f1xx or f2xx derivetives, they have debugging features that any beginner should find extremely useful. Dev boards sell for $99 up. Do stay away from the f3xx derivatives. Erik |
