I think there is simply way to start with uProcesor C52 family from Atmel.
I use some very popular in project in Poland. First is full compatible AT89C52 with typical RAM(256) and Flash (8k). It is simply programmed and many cycles of read/write. And have a 40-pin DIL-40 closure so making PCB is simply. For the beginer great is AT89C2051 with 20 pin DIL-20, but it can work only with internal RAM 128 and Flash 2k. As you see it have C in name so it is CMOS but work to 24 MHz, but with 12 per cycles. Of course there isn't debugigng but it cost only 1$ on second market. Great price to start :). |
