All these measurements are taken at a static position, where the stepper motor is energized, but not moving. I have an ammeter connected where the fuse would be.

As I said all measurements thus far have been taken when the stepper is not moving and is sitting idle. When moving, everything is more complicated. I think I need to get a grip on the idle condition first, before I make the move to "running" condition.

Performance has been evaluated during a moving condition, but the static condition has not been as expected, so the moving condition has been set aside at this point.
