Quite some time ago at an NXP (formerly Philips) Seminar - some one possed the XA question.. and the Philips App's engineers suggested that for new designs price / features LPC2000 ARM7 was recommended over XA designs (where possible).
The ARM7 wins hands down for price vs features vs flash size vs tool sets vs industry acceptance. 12~18 months after the seminar quite a few XA's went EOL (End Of Life). Seems the Philps Guys advised correctly to the original question. Joe |
