#100421 - CD4094BC
Dear Friends,

I am using CD4094BC for I/O Expansion with AT89C51.

Could any body tell exact procedure to get out data from CD4094BC

i was little confused with the datasheet.

"The output of each stage of the shift register feeds a latch,
which latches data on the negative edge of the STROBE
input. When STROBE is HIGH, data propagates through the latch to 3-STATE output gates. These gates are enabled when OUTPUT ENABLE is taken HIGH."

I got above one from fairchild semiconductor data sheet.

but in truth table he given that strobe should be high to get out data.

is negative edge trigger is required to latch data? or only level trigger is sufficient?

but in truth table he didn';t mention anywhere about negative edge of strobe pin?

please clarify my doubt..
