#102022 - project
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Basically, the huge amounts of ram needed will be for visual recognition, some type of buffer for processing images in real time coming from a CCD camera. Thats along time down the road though, but I've been reading several online articles about algorithms for pattern recognition using an 8051 and lots of ram for a buffer. Just something I want to play with down the road. I'd love to get ahold of one of those Silab chips to mess with though - but they are not in DIP and I just can't solder something that small lol. Do they make a socket that chip could snap in to which would be easier to solder to a board than the chip itself?
