Not each derivative has timer2 (although those that don't have it are quite rare, I admit). And, even not knowing what was Jeff asking it for at the time I wrote that post, I hit it - indeed, the DS89C4x0 uses timer1 in the bootloader - as if Dallas never heard of using T2 for baudrate generation... :-) Jan Waclawek |
