#102730 - Semi technical Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I've been known to hit things and make noises with them, but I'd hesitate to call myself a drummer.
I'm just interested in marrying up 2 hobbies - music and electronics. Ultimately I'd like to make a full practice kit that can be played through a PC via USB, but one step at a time, hey? Kai, I like your idea, but will that not add a short delay to the triggering, as in the note can't trigger until the clipping stops? By the way, I'm planning to mount the piezos in some kind of practice pad (like in the SOS articles above) so they won't be hit directly. I'm starting to wonder if I'd be better with a micro per pad, or if I can route 4 or so pads per micro. |
