#10372 - Weird LCD problem |
Hello everybody,
I am about to present my diploma degree project. I have built a terminal based on Dallas DS5000T (i love this company, almost all my ICs on my project are from Dallas). I use a Hantronix LCD module with Toshiba T6963C controller. The problem i get is that sometimes when i turn on (sometimes if i turn off) the fluorescent lights i use in my room, the display turns off. However the mcu is not restarted and the T6963C is still receiving data and commands. It just doesn't display them. I connect the display to the terminal board with flat cables of about 60cm in length. Could this be a power supply problem ?? I don't think so. Does anyone have an idea on what this problem might be or even a solution ? Thank you in advance. Panos Kenterlis T.E.I. of Piraeus Dept. of Electronic Computer Systems Athens - Greece |
